A collection of ideas

Another day in my life. No one in our house has swine flu yet. Knock on wood. Wild Mom and Lady are in Pigeon Forge doing craft stuff, watching leaves change and chatting up a storm. So far they are having fun and staying quite busy. Wonder what will happen when the credit cards max out. They may wind up sitting on a bench along the highway and watching the leaves change color. Bowling is doing well, especially on the kids league. The Adult league is a bit harder to hang on to the top spot. But the run in First Place has been fun. The two bible studies that that I have been facilitator for are drawing to a close. I will be glad to get back to a single night and rest a bit. Not much else is going on except adjusting to the everyday changes and roadblocks. I would expect to see many changes come up over the next month or so. I am afraid that some of them will be quite painful and a shock back to reality. Work still continues to be a pain in the Kazoo. Then again, why would I expect it to be any different now. But I will stay there (with conditions) until the job market changes and then "Hasta La Vista Baby".

#1 is back at work and #2 is searching ... somewhat. Peanut had her surgery and is doing fine considering the pain she is in. Her school is going great and graduation day grows closer. AJ grows and is spending a few days with friends since Mom can't lift him. maybe he will return all trained. With Lady gone this weekend, Lew and Lil Princess spent time with their parents. Princess works all the time and the occasional text message lets me know she is alive. Star is gallivanting about the land ... I think Chicago is next but I have not been officially told. A birdie did.

Go old Washington Redskins. Could a team be more dysfunctional? Don't blame the Coaches ... blame the players that don't play to the level they are paid to play at. There are a lot of good players sitting at home that would love the chance to play and especially get paid like the current squad of losers are paid. Where is the $100 Million dollar man? That would have paid for a lot of real players that love the game and feel it is an honor to put the uniform on. This current team thinks the world owes them a win. Well, Detroit, Kansas City, and Panthers earned their wins. The Titans must be ecstatic they off-loaded their liability to the 'Skins. Don't place 100% of the blame on the coach ... at least he deserves a team with a desire to win. Then blame him when he doesn't win. Right now, in my mind the players are the quitters.
