The Grand Adventure - Day I

Well, Bubba's Grand Adventure is off and running well.  We escaped from Manassas about 12:30 this afternoon.  Traffic today was ok except for the part of I-95 prior to Fredericksburg.  I guess the traffic monster wanted to suck us in and not let us escape.  But we did despite their best effort.  As I said the drive was nice and the weather cooperated very nicely.  Despite the usual rest stops and coffee breaks at Love's we managed to make it to Fayetteville NC for the night.  Dinner was leisure and good at Cracker Barrel.  We ran out of new jokes by Richmond and definitely don't want to tell old ones.  We will push harder tomorrow for our goal is to spend the night around Jacksonville FL.  Thus leaving a short sprint on Saturday to Ft Lauderdale and Bubba Gump's!  Time for some rest and sleep!
